Candidates seeking admission into any of the undergraduate programmes of Department of Political Science and International Relations should fulfil the following requirements:
- Candidates should possess at least five credit passes at not more than two sittings in the O/L, SSCE/GCE/NECO or their equivalents in the following subjects:
For International Relations:
(a.) Mathematics
(b.) English Language
(c.) Government or History, and
(d.) Any other two (2) subjects from Social Science or Arts
- Candidates must also sit for the current JAMB examination and obtain the prescribed cut-off mark in the relevant subject.
- Candidates must fulfil any other requirement set by the University for admission into the programmes.
To be eligible for the B.Sc Degree in International Relations, the candidate must satisfy the general regulations of the University and must have taken and passed approved compulsory and elective courses. It is possible for a candidate to exceed the minimum number of 168 Credit Units shown below, by selecting courses of his/her choice, provided that prior approval of the Head of Department is obtained.
