Candidates seeking admission into any of the undergraduate programmes of Department of Political Science and International Relations should fulfil the following requirements:

1. Candidates should possess at least five credit passes at not more than two sittings in the O/L, SSCE/GCE/NECO or their equivalents in the following subjects:

For Political Science

(a.) Mathematics

(b.) English Language

(c.) Government or History, and

(d.) Any other two (2) subjects from Social Science or Arts

2. Candidates must also sit for the current JAMB examination and obtain the prescribed cut-off mark in the relevant subject.
3. Candidates must fulfil any other requirement set by the University for admission into the programmes.

To graduate from the 4-year Bachelor of Science Degree Programme in Political Science, the student must have successfully completed a minimum of 168 Credit Units as shown below:
